OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES
1. NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.1 Open only to legal U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older.
2. ENTRY. The Sweepstakes begins at [9:00AM CST on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023] and ends at [11:59PM CST on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023]. To enter, participant [must like, share, and comment on the Instagram post with the requirements of tagging 3 businesses, and follow the StaplesPromo Instagram page. If sweepstakes includes an online component and there is a dispute over the identity of an online participant, registration will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder, regardless of the individual that submitted the registration. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connection; miscommunications; failed phone or computer or telephone transmissions; technical failure; jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions; late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged, destroyed, delayed, misdirected or postage-due mail; or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical, or electronic. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site, or undermine the legitimate operations of the sweepstakes, is a violation of the criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent permitted by law and to disqualify such participant from the sweepstakes. In the event the sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the sweepstakes.
3. DRAWING. There will be 1 winner. Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries to be conducted on September 13, 2023. The decision of the judges will be final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by direct message and confirmed by email. If a winner cannot be reached by message and email within 24 hours of first notification attempt, an alternate winner may be selected. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.
4. PRIZE[S]. [Winner will receive (1) promo code for $500 off of an order on StaplesPromo.com, all items on StaplesPromo.com are eligible for purchase with promo code. This will be a one time use promo code. Estimated retail value for the prize is: $500. Prize cannot be substituted, assigned or transferred by winner. Any expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes in connection with prize. All federal, state, local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value for the original prize. Prize is not redeemable for cash.
5. ELIGIBILITY. Employees (and their respective family members) of any of the following organizations are ineligible to participate or win a prize: Staples and its subsidiaries, parent organizations, affiliates, governors, officers, directors, agents, service agencies and independent contractors (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”).
6. CONDITIONS. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Winner agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Sponsor/Sweepstakes Entities against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of participant’s participation in the sweepstakes or the receipt, use or misuse of the prize. Except where prohibited by law, the winner will be required to sign (within 24 hours of telephone notification and receipt of the AECR Form) an Affidavit of Eligibility, Compliance and Release Form (“AECR Form”) certifying eligibility and compliance with these rules, agreement to hold Sponsor/Sweepstakes Entities harmless from any liability arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance, use or misuse of prize, and authorizing the use of the winner’s name, voice and likeness for advertising and publicity except where prohibited by law. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prize. By participating, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and these rules.

8. SPONSOR. This sweepstakes is sponsored and administered by Staples Promotional Products, 500 Staples Drive, Framingham, MA 01702.

StaplesPromo currently does not ship products outside of the contiguous United States due to exporting restrictions and high shipping costs.

A: Winners will be randomly selected by a computer. We will contact each winner via direct message on Instagram; we ask that the winner respond within 24 hours and provide their email address. You will receive an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Compliance and Release form.
